Warnings also came to the Pharaonites, 41 They rejected each one of Our signs. So We seized them with the grip of one mighty and powerful. 42 Are your people who deny the truth better than those? Or have you been given immunity in the Scriptures? 43 Do they say, "We shall be victorious because we are united?" 44 Soon shall this legion be routed and shall turn their backs and flee. 45 Aye! the Hour is their appointed term, and the Hour shall be far more grievous and far more bitter. 46 for, behold, those who are lost in sin [will at that time come to know that it is they who] were sunk in error and folly! 47 On the day when they are dragged upon their faces in the fire – “Taste the heat of hell.” 48 Indeed, all things We created with predestination. 49 And Our command is only a fleeting one – like the batting of an eyelid. 50 And assuredly We have destroyed your likes; so is there any one who shall be admonished? 51 And every thing they did is in the scriptures, 52 And everything small and great is written down. 53 Indeed the pious are amidst Gardens and springs. 54 in a sure abode, in the presence of a King Omnipotent. 55
