The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ The Most Beneficent (Allah)! 1 has taught the Koran. 2 He created the human being 3 And taught him to express clearly. 4 The sun and the moon to a reckoning, 5 and the stars and the trees bow themselves; 6 And the Firmament has He raised high, and He has set up the Balance (of Justice), 7 In order that ye may not transgress (due) balance. 8 and weigh with justice, and skimp not in the Balance.) 9 And the earth hath He appointed for (His) creatures, 10 In which are fruits, and covered dates. 11 And grain having husks and scented plants. 12 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 13 He created man of a clay like the potter's, 14 and jinn from the many colored flames of fire. 15 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 16 Lord of the Two Easts, Lord of the Two Wests, 17 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 18 He let forth the two seas that meet together, 19 Between them is a barrier [so] neither of them transgresses. 20 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 21 There come forth from the twain the pearl and the coral. 22 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 23 His are the high-sailed vessels in deep ocean like the mountains. 24 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you then deny? 25
