When God said: "O Jesus, I will take you to Myself and exalt you, and rid you of the infidels, and hold those who follow you above those who disbelieve till the Day of Resurrection. You have then to come back to Me when I will judge between you in what you were at variance." 55 Then as to those who disbelieve, I will chastise them with severe chastisement in this world and the hereafter, and they shall have no helpers. 56 And as to those who believe and do good deeds, He will pay them fully their rewards; and Allah does not love the unjust. 57 This which we recite unto thee is of the signs and of the wise admonition. 58 Truly, the likeness of Jesus, in God's sight, is as Adam's likeness; He created him of dust, then said He unto him, 'Be,' and he was. 59 This is the truth from your Lord, so do not be in doubt. 60 Therefore say to those who dispute with you (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) concerning Eisa after the knowledge has come to you, “Come! Let us summon our sons and your sons, and our women and your women, and ourselves and yourselves – then pray humbly, thereby casting the curse of Allah upon the liars!” (The Christians did not accept this challenge.) 61 Behold, this is indeed the truth of the matter, and there is no deity whatever save God; and verily, God - He alone - is almighty, truly wise. 62 If they turn away (from the Truth, let it be known that) God knows well the evil-doers. 63
