▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ Nay, I swear by the setting of the stars -- 75 (and that is indeed a mighty oath, did you but know it) 76 That (this) is indeed a noble Qur'an 77 In a Book Hidden. 78 None touch it except the purified. 79 Sent down by the Lord Of The Creation. 80 Would you say that this statement is a lie? 81 and your portion in it is simply that you denounce it as false? 82 Then why do you not (intervene) when (the soul of a dying person) reaches the throat? 83 And you wait for the moment (of death), 84 And We are nearer to it than you, but you do not see-- 85 Then why do you not, if you are not to be recompensed, 86 Bring back the soul (to its body), if you are truthful? 87 Then if he is one of those drawn nigh (to Allah), 88 There will be peace and plenty, and gardens of tranquility for him. 89 And if he was of the companions of the right, 90 (he will be greeted with): 'Peace be upon you, Companion of the Right' 91 But if he is of the rejecters, the erring, 92 a welcome of burning despair [awaits him in the life to come,] 93 And roasting at hell-fire. 94 Lo! this is certain truth. 95 Therefore (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) proclaim the Purity of the name of your Lord, the Greatest. 96
