۞ I swear by the fallings of the stars 75 and this is indeed a mighty oath, if only you knew – 76 it is indeed a Glorious Koran, 77 [conveyed unto man] in a well-guarded divine writ 78 none but the purified shall touch, 79 [It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 So is this the matter regarding which you laze? 81 And you make its denial your share? 82 Then why do ye not (intervene) when (the soul of the dying man) reaches the throat,- 83 And you are at that time looking on - 84 We are nearer to him than you, but you do not see 85 why, then, if [you think that] you are not truly dependent [on Us,] 86 do you not restore his soul, if you are truthful? 87 If he is among the near 88 Then breath of life, and plenty, and a Garden of delight. 89 And if he is one of the People on the Right, 90 (For him is the salutation), "Peace be unto thee", from the Companions of the Right Hand. 91 But if he is one of those who rejected [the truth] and went astray, 92 there shall be a hospitality of boiling water 93 And roasting in a Blaze. 94 This is indeed the ultimate truth. 95 So celebrate with praises the name of thy Lord, the Supreme. 96
