The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By the angels who drag forth vehemently. 1 and move [in their orbits] with steady motion, 2 by the angels who float (in the heavens by the will of God), 3 and those that outstrip suddenly 4 And who plan the implementation. 5 On the Day when a violent convulsion will convulse [the world], 6 Followed by the second blast, 7 hearts will throb on that Day 8 and their eyes shall be humbled. 9 They say: Shall we indeed be restored to (our) first state? 10 even after we have been reduced to bones, hollow and rotten?” 11 They say: that then shall be a losing return. 12 Surely it will need but one shout, 13 When lo! they shall be wakeful. 14 (Muhammad), have you heard the story of Moses 15 When his Lord called him in the sacred valley of Tuwa, 16 saying 'Go to Pharaoh, he has become exceedingly insolent, 17 And say to him: "Would you purify yourself (from the sin of disbelief by becoming a believer)", 18 Then I will guide you to your Lord that you may come to fear Him.'" 19 So he showed him the mighty sign. 20 but the Pharaoh rejected it and disobeyed (Moses). 21 and brusquely turned his back [on Moses]; 22 then, he gathered, proclaimed, 23 “I am the supreme lord of you all.” 24 But Allah did punish him, (and made an) example of him, - in the Hereafter, as in this life. 25 Verily, in this is an instructive admonition for whosoever fears Allah. 26
