Are ye harder to create or the heaven which He hath builded? 27 He raised high its height, then put it into a right good state. 28 and darkened its night and brought forth its morning. 29 And afterwards spread out the earth. 30 And he brought forth therefrom its water, and its pasture. 31 and the mountains He set firm, 32 All this was done as a means of enjoyment for you and your cattle. 33 AND SO, when the great overwhelming event [of resurrection] comes to pass 34 The Day whereon man shall remember whatsoever he had striven for. 35 And hell will be made visible to all those who can see. 36 Then, as for him who rebelled 37 and preferred the life of this world [to the good of his soul,] 38 Will surely have Hell for his abode. 39 But he who feared to stand before his Lord, and restrained himself from evil desires, 40 Lo! the Garden will be his home. 41 (Muhammad), they ask you, "When will the Hour of Doom come?" 42 But how are you to know? 43 Your Lord alone knows when it will come; 44 Thou art but a warner unto him who feareth. 45 On the Day when they behold it, [it will seem to them] as if they had tarried [in this world] no longer than one evening or [one night, ending with] its morn! 46
