Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ WHEN THE SKY is split asunder, 1 And when the stars shall be scattered, 2 When the Oceans are suffered to burst forth; 3 and when the graves are laid open: 4 Every soul will come to know what it has sent ahead and what it left behind. 5 O man! What is it that lures you away from your bountiful Sustainer, 6 Who created you, proportioned you, and balanced you? 7 He moulded you into whatever shape He willed. 8 Rather, you belied the Recompense. 9 Verify there are for you guardians, 10 noble recorders, 11 who know what you do. 12 Indeed, the righteous will be in pleasure, 13 And indeed, the wicked will be in Hellfire. 14 roasting therein on the Day of Doom, 15 And they shall by no means be absent from it. 16 And what will make you realize what the day of judgment is? 17 How then can you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 18 [It will be] a Day when no human being shall be of the least avail to another human being: for on that Day [it will become manifest that] all sovereignty is God's alone. 19
