Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ When heaven is split open, 1 And when the stars fall down. 2 when the seas overflow; 3 And when the [contents of] graves are scattered, 4 Every soul shall know what it has sent before and held back. 5 O human! What has deceived you concerning your Generous Lord 6 who created you, formed you and proportioned you? 7 in whatever composition He wanted. 8 Rather, you belied the Recompense. 9 but you should know that there are angelic guards 10 Kind and honourable,- Writing down (your deeds): 11 They know all that you do. 12 The pious will surely be in heaven, 13 The wicked certainly in Hell: 14 They will [enter to] burn therein on the Day of Recompense, 15 and from which they will find no escape. 16 What will make you realize what the Day of Judgement will be? 17 And once again: What could make thee conceive what that Judgment Day will be? 18 It is the Day when no one shall have the power to do anything for another, and all command shall be Allah's. 19
