The people of Noah also rejected the messengers. 105 When their brother Noah said to them, "Will you have no fear of God? 106 Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger. 107 so fear Allah and obey me. 108 “And I do not ask from you any fee for it; my reward is only upon the Lord Of The Creation.” 109 “Therefore fear Allah, and obey me.” 110 ۞ They answered: "Shall we place our faith in thee, even though [only] the most abject [of people] follow thee?" 111 Noah said: "What knowledge do I have about their deeds? 112 Their account falls only upon my Lord, were you but aware. 113 I am not going to drive away any believers. 114 I am none but a plain warner." 115 They said: "If thou desist not, O Noah! thou shalt be stoned (to death)." 116 He said: my Lord! verily my people have belied me. 117 So open between me and them an opening, and save me and the believers who are with me' 118 And so We saved him and those [who were] with him in the fully-laden ark, 119 Then after it, We drowned the rest. 120 Verily, in this is indeed a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 Verily Your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Ever Compassionate. 122
