The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By the sky, (displaying) the Zodiacal Signs; 1 And the promised day, 2 By the witness and the witnessed! 3 The companions of the pit were killed 4 Of fire fuel-fed, 5 When they sat by it 6 And they themselves are witnesses to what they were doing to the Muslims! 7 They took revenge on them only because they believed in the All-mighty, the Al-laudable, 8 To whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. And Allah, over all things, is Witness. 9 Verily those who affected the believing men and the believing women, and then repented not, theirs shall be the torment of Hell, and theirs shall be the torment of burning. 10 Indeed those who believed and did good deeds – for them are Gardens beneath which rivers flow; this is the great success. 11 Surely thy Lord's assault is terrible. 12 It is He who creates all things and causes them to return. 13 He is the forgiving and the loving, 14 Master of the Honourable Throne. 15 Always doing whatever He wills. 16 Hast thou received the story of the hosts, 17 [Those of] Pharaoh and Thamud? 18 But those who disbelieve are engaged in denial. 19 although Allah surrounds them. 20 But this is an honored Qur'an 21 Inscribed in a tablet preserved. 22
