The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who created all things and gave them due proportions, 2 And Who has measured (preordainments for each and everything even to be blessed or wretched); then guided (i.e. showed mankind the right as well as wrong paths, and guided the animals to pasture); 3 Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 and then made it into a blackish straw. 5 We shall enable thee to recite, and then thou shalt not forget, 6 Except what Allah pleases, surely He knows the manifest, and what is hidden. 7 And We will make your way smooth to a state of ease. 8 Therefore advise, if advising is beneficial. 9 in mind will keep it he who stands in awe [of God,] 10 But the wretched one will avoid it - 11 who will enter the Great Fire, 12 in which he will neither die nor live therein. 13 But those will prosper who purify themselves, 14 And mentions the name of his Lord and prays. 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelation),- 18 The scriptures of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
God the Almighty always says the truth.
