Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Hallow thou the name of thine Lord, the Most High, 1 Who creates, then makes complete, 2 And the One Who kept proper measure and then guided. 3 And Who brings out the pasturage, 4 then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, 5 We shall make you recite (the Qur'an) so that you will not forget it, 6 Except what Allah pleases, surely He knows the manifest, and what is hidden. 7 And We will ease you toward ease. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder profits, 9 He who fears [God] will heed the reminder, 10 And the most wicked will stay away from it. 11 who will enter the Great Fire, 12 where he will neither die nor live. 13 But those will prosper who purify themselves, 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 No; but you prefer the present life, 16 Though the life to come is better and abiding. 17 This is surely in the earlier Books, 18 Writs of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
