The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ GLORIFY THE NAME of your Lord, most high, 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 And the One Who kept proper measure and then guided. 3 Who brought forth the pasture, 4 then made it a blackening wrack. 5 By degrees shall We teach thee to declare (the Message), so thou shalt not forget, 6 Except what Allah, may will, He knows what is apparent and what is hidden. 7 And We shall ease thy way unto the state of ease. 8 Therefore advise, if advising is beneficial. 9 Those who have fear of God will benefit 10 But the most hapless will flout it, 11 The one who will enter the biggest fire. 12 in which he will neither die nor live therein. 13 He is successful who groweth, 14 And remembereth the name of his Lord, so prayeth, 15 No; but you prefer the present life, 16 although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelation),- 18 the Scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
