The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who created all things and gave them due proportions, 2 who determines the nature [of all that exists], and guided it accordingly; 3 Who brings out the pastures 4 Then turneth it to russet stubble. 5 We shall make you recite (the Qur'an) so that you will not forget it, 6 Except what Allah pleases, surely He knows the manifest, and what is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy unto thee the easy way. 8 Therefore do remind, surely reminding does profit. 9 He who fears [Allah] will be reminded. 10 but the most wretched shall flout it, 11 He who will be flung to the great Fire 12 Wherein he shall neither die nor live, 13 Indeed successful is the one who became pure. 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 But you prefer the life of this world, 16 While the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 This, indeed, was in the ancient Scrolls, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
