The Night (Al-Layl)
21 verses, revealed in Mecca after The All High (Al-A'alaa) before Dawn (Al-Fajr)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the night, when it envelops, 1 And the day when it shines in all its glory, 2 And by Who created the male and female, 3 Indeed, your efforts are diverse. 4 As for him who gave out his wealth (for Allah's sake) and abstained (from disobeying Him), 5 for those who spend for the cause of God, 6 We will pave his way to ease. 7 And as for him who stinteth and is heedless, 8 and cries lies to the reward most fair, 9 We shall facilitate for him the way to Hardship, 10 Nor will his wealth profit him when he falls headlong (into the Pit). 11 It is indeed for Us to show the way, 12 And indeed, to Us belongs the Hereafter and the first [life]. 13 So, I warn you of the blazing Fire. 14 Which only the most wretched must endure, 15 Who had denied and turned away. 16 And away from it shall be kept the one who guards most (against evil), 17 And gives of his wealth that he may grow in virtue, 18 And not [giving] for anyone who has [done him] a favor to be rewarded 19 Except the seeking of the pleasure of his Lord, the Most High. 20 and before long he will be well satisfied. 21
Almighty God's Truth.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
