Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Have We not caused thy bosom to dilate, 1 And removed from thee thy burden 2 Which weighed down thy back. 3 And We have upraised for thee thy renown. 4 Surely with hardship there is ease. 5 With hardship indeed there is ease. 6 So when thou art relieved, still toil 7 And to your Lord direct [your] longing. 8
Almighty Allah's Truth.
