The warnings also came to Pharaoh's people, 41 The (people) rejected all Our Signs; but We seized them with such Penalty (as comes) from One Exalted in Power, able to carry out His Will. 42 Are your disbelievers better than those, or have ye some immunity in the scriptures? 43 Or do they say: "We are a group united, [and therefore] bound to prevail"? 44 The hosts will all be routed and will turn and flee. 45 Nay, but the Hour is their tryst, and the Hour is very calamitous and bitter. 46 The evil-doers are indeed sunk in error and folly -- 47 when they will be dragged on their faces into the fire and will be told, "Feel the touch of hell". 48 We have created everything in due measure; 49 It takes only a single command from Us (to bring the Day of Judgment) and that can be achieved within the twinkling of an eye. 50 And (oft) in the past, have We destroyed gangs like unto you: then is there any that will receive admonition? 51 All that they do is noted in (their) Books (of Deeds): 52 And everything, small and big is written (in Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz already beforehand i.e. before it befalls, or is done by its doer) (See the Quran V. 57:22). 53 Surely those who fear God and follow the straight path will be amidst gardens and light, 54 In a seat of truth (i.e. Paradise), near the Omnipotent King (Allah, the All-Blessed, the Most High, the Owner of Majesty and Honour). 55
