Destiny (Al-Qadr)
5 verses, revealed in Mecca after He Frowned ('Abasa) before The Sun (Al-Shams)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
BEHOLD, from on high have We bestowed this [divine writ] on Night of Destiny. 1 And what shall make thee know that which the night of Power is? 2 Better is the Night of Determination than a thousand months. 3 in it the angels and the Spirit descend, by the leave of their Lord, upon every command. 4 (The night is) Peace until the rising of the dawn. 5
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
