The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

I swear by the runners breathing pantingly, 1 Then those that produce fire striking, 2 while running during a raid at dawn, 3 And therein raising dust. 4 and penetrate deep into a host. 5 Verily man is unto his Lord ungrateful. 6 and surely he is a witness against that! 7 for, verily, to the love of wealth is he most ardently devoted. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not - when that which is in the graves shall be ransacked? 9 And what is in the breasts is made apparent? 10 Surely their Lord will be aware of their (deeds). 11

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
