▼ 29 The Spider
Al-Ankaboot 7 of 7
This present life is naught but a diversion and a sport; surely the Last Abode is Life, did they but know. 64 And when they mount upon the ships they pray to Allah, making their faith pure for Him only, but when He bringeth them safe to land, behold! they ascribe partners (unto Him), 65 and thus they show utter ingratitude for all that We have vouchsafed them, and go on [thoughtlessly] enjoying their worldly life. 66 Do they not see that We have given them a sanctuary of safety whereas people around them are being snatched away? So, do they believe in falsehood and ungratefully deny Allah's bounties? 67 And who does greater evil that he who forges a lie against Allah or belied the truth when it comes to him! Is there not a lodging in Gehenna for the unbelievers? 68 And those who strive for Us - We will surely guide them to Our ways. And indeed, Allah is with the doers of good. 69
