Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
The emulous desire of abundance engrosseth you, 1 until you come to the graves. 2 Nay, but ye will come to know! 3 Again, yes certainly, you will soon realise! 4 Nay, were ye to know with certainty of mind, (ye would beware!) 5 Ye shall certainly see Hell-Fire! 6 Again, you shall surely see it with the eye of certainty 7 Then on that day you will surely be asked about the verity of pleasures. 8
