Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Perish the hands of AbiLahab, and perish he! 1 No profit to him from all his wealth, and all his gains! 2 He shall soon burn in fire that flames, 3 along with his wife, that carrier of slanderous tales; 4 Around her neck will be a rope of palm fibre. 5

God the Almighty always says the truth.
