Al-Baqarah 5 of 40

O Children of Israel! Remember My Favour which I bestowed upon you, and fulfill (your obligations to) My Covenant (with you) so that I fulfill (My Obligations to) your covenant (with Me), and fear none but Me. 40 And believe in what I have sent down confirming what is with you, and do not be the first to disbelieve it. Do not sell My verses for a little price and fear Me. 41 And do not confound the truth with vanity, and do not conceal the truth wittingly. 42 and be constant in prayer, and spend in charity, and bow down in prayer with all who thus bow down. 43 ۞ Do you order righteousness of the people and forget yourselves while you recite the Scripture? Then will you not reason? 44 And seek help in patience and As-Salat (the prayer) and truly it is extremely heavy and hard except for Al-Khashi'un [i.e. the true believers in Allah - those who obey Allah with full submission, fear much from His Punishment, and believe in His Promise (Paradise, etc.) and in His Warnings (Hell, etc.)]. 45 who reckon that they will meet their Lord and that to Him they will return. 46
