We shall punish those who deny Our revelations slowly in a way that they will not know. 182 I give them rein (for) lo! My scheme is strong. 183 Do they not ponder that their companion is far removed from insanity? In fact he is clearly a Herald of Warning. 184 Do they not look into the realm of the heavens and the earth and everything that Allah has created and [think] that perhaps their appointed time has come near? So in what statement hereafter will they believe? 185 No one can guide those whom God lets go astray: He leaves them blundering about in their arrogance. 186 They ask you [Prophet] about the Last Hour, "When will it come?" Say, "Knowledge about it rests only with my Lord; He alone will reveal when its time will come, it lies heavy on the heavens and the earth: it will suddenly overtake you." They will put questions to you as though you had full knowledge of it. Say, "Knowledge about it rests only with God, though most people do not realize it." 187 Say thou: I possess no power over benefit or hurt to myself save as Allah willeth; and had I knowledge of the unseen I would have amassed ample good, and evil would not have touched me. I am naught but a warner and a bringer of tidings unto a people who believe. 188
