Moses said, "My Lord! open up my heart, 25 And ease my task for me; 26 and my tongue fluent 27 (That) they may understand my word; 28 Appoint for me a minister from my family 29 Aaron, my brother. 30 Strengthen my back by him, 31 and let him share my task 32 That we may glorify Thee much 33 And remember Thee oft. 34 Verily Thou! Thou art of us ever a Beholder. 35 He said: Thou art granted thy request, O Moses. 36 “And indeed We had bestowed upon you a favour one more time.” 37 "Behold! We sent to thy mother, by inspiration, the message: 38 [Saying], 'Cast him into the chest and cast it into the river, and the river will throw it onto the bank; there will take him an enemy to Me and an enemy to him.' And I bestowed upon you love from Me that you would be brought up under My eye. 39 “When your sister went, then said, ‘Shall I show you the people who may nurse him?’ And We brought you back to your mother in order to soothe her eyes and that she may not grieve; and you killed a man, so We freed you from sorrow, and tested you to the maximum; you therefore stayed for several years among the people of Madyan; then you came (here) at an appointed time, O Moosa.” 40 for I have chosen thee for Mine Own service. 41 "Go you and your brother with My Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), and do not, you both, slacken and become weak in My Remembrance. 42 Go, both of you to Pharaoh, for he has transgressed all bounds. 43 "And speak to him mildly, perhaps he may accept admonition or fear Allah." 44 They (Moses and Aaron) said: "Our Lord! We fear lest he hasten with insolence against us, or lest he transgress all bounds." 45 God said, "Do not fear; I am with you both. I hear and I see. 46 They came to the Pharaoh and told him that they were the Messengerss of his Lord and that they wanted him to let the Israelites go with them and stop afflicting the Israelites with torment. They told the Pharaoh, "We have brought miracles from Our Creator. Peace be with those who follow the right guidance. 47 It is revealed to us that those who call our message a lie or turn away from it will face the torment." 48 He (Pharaoh) said: 'Moses, who is the Lord of you both' 49 They replied, "Our Lord is the One Who has created all things and has given guidance". 50 He said: What then is the state of the generations of old? 51 Said Moses, 'The knowledge of them is with my Lord, in a Book; my Lord goes not astray, nor forgets -- 52 HE IT IS who has made the earth a cradle for you, and has traced out for you ways [of livelihood] thereon, and [who] sends down waters from the sky: and by this means We bring forth various kinds of plants. 53 Do you eat, and pasture your cattle! Surely in that are signs for men possessing reason. 54
