Blessed is He Who made the constellations in the heavens and made therein a lamp and a shining moon. 61 And it is He Who made the Night and the Day to follow each other: for such as have the will to celebrate His praises or to show their gratitude. 62 And the slaves of the Most Beneficent (Allah) are those who walk on the earth in humility and sedateness, and when the foolish address them (with bad words) they reply back with mild words of gentleness. 63 And those who spend [part of] the night to their Lord prostrating and standing [in prayer] 64 And they who say: O our Lord! turn away from us the punishment of hell, surely the punishment thereof is a lasting 65 Evil indeed it (Hell) is as an abode and as a place to dwell. 66 And those, who, when they spend, are neither extravagant nor niggardly, but hold a medium (way) between those (extremes). 67 those who never invoke any other deity besides God, nor take a life which God has made sacred, except with the right to do so, nor commit adultery. Anyone who does that shall face punishment: 68 (But) the Penalty on the Day of Judgment will be doubled to him, and he will dwell therein in ignominy,- 69 save him who repents, and believes, and does righteous work -- those, God will change their evil deeds into good deeds, for God is ever All-forgiving, All-compassionate; 70 And whosoever repents and does righteous good deeds, then verily, he repents towards Allah with true repentance. 71 (And the servants of the Merciful are those:) who do not bear witness to falsehood and who; if they have ever to pass by what is vain, pass by like dignified people: 72 who, when reminded of the revelations of their Lord, do not try to ignore them as though deaf and blind. Rather, they try to understand and think about them. 73 And who say: Our Lord! Vouchsafe us comfort of our wives and of our offspring, and make us patterns for (all) those who ward off (evil). 74 Such are the people who will be rewarded with high palaces for their fortitude,, wherein they will be welcomed with due respect, honour and salutations 75 and wherein they will live for ever: what an excellent abode and what an excellent resting place! 76 Say (O Muhammad SAW to the disbelievers): "My Lord pays attention to you only because of your invocation to Him. But now you have indeed denied (Him). So the torment will be yours for ever (inseparable permanent punishment)." 77
