The Poets (Alshu'araa')
227 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah) before The Ant (Al-Naml)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Ta. Sin, Mim. 1 These are the verses of the clear Book. 2 Wouldst thou, perhaps, torment thyself to death [with grief] because they [who live around thee] refuse to believe [in it]? 3 If We will, We can send down on them from the sky a portent so that their necks would remain bowed before it. 4 Never cometh there unto them a fresh reminder from the Beneficent One, but they turn away from it. 5 So they have cried lies; therefore assuredly tidings will come to them of that they mocked at. 6 Do they not see the earth, and what beneficial kinds of things We have caused to grow in it? 7 Most surely there is a sign in that, but most of them will not believe. 8 And lo! thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 9

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
