The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta-Sin-Mim. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings.] 1 Those are the verses of the clear Book. 2 Possibly you may risk your life (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) by grieving, because they did not believe. 3 If We willed, We could send down to them from the sky a sign for which their necks would remain humbled. 4 Whenever there comes to them any fresh warning from the Merciful, they always turn their backs on it: 5 They have indeed rejected (the Message): so they will know soon (enough) the truth of what they mocked at! 6 Do they not see the earth, how We grow all kinds of noble things upon it? 7 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 8 Your Lord, He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 9
