The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
182 verses, revealed in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By those [angels] who range themselves in close ranks 1 By the angels driving away. 2 By those (angels) who bring the Book and the Quran from Allah to mankind [Tafsir Ibn Kathir]. 3 Verily, most surely, your God is One 4 the Lord of the heavens and the earth and of all that is between them; the Lord of the Easts. 5 We have indeed decked the lower heaven with beauty (in) the stars,- 6 Protecting them against every wayward devil, 7 They cannot listen to the speech of those on higher elevations and they are targeted from every side. 8 driven away, and will suffer eternal punishment. 9 Save him who snatcheth a fragment, and there pursueth him a piercing flame. 10 So ask them if they are more difficult to create, or the rest We have created? Indeed (man) We created from fermented clay. 11 But you wonder, while they mock, 12 When they are reminded, they do not remember. 13 And, when they see a Sign, turn it to mockery, 14 And they say: "This is nothing but evident magic! 15 They say, "Shall we be brought to life again after we die and turn into dust and bones? 16 and perhaps also our forebears of old?" 17 You say: "Yes; and you will be lowly made." 18 It will be a single Zajrah [shout (i.e. the second blowing of the Trumpet)], and behold, they will be staring! 19 And say: "Ah woe! This is the Day of Reckoning." 20 This is the Day of Decision which you belied. 21

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
