And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 And We helped them, so they overcame (their troubles); 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 And We led the twain on unto the straight path. 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 Salamun (peace) be upon Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)!" 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call upon Baal and forsake the Best of the Creators? 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 Peace be upon Ilyas! 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 Except an old woman (his wife) who was among those who remained behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 And at night-time; have ye then no sense? 138
