Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
We certainly bestowed Our favor upon Moses and Aaron 114 We saved them and their people from great distress; 115 And We helped them, so they were the vanquishers. 116 And We gave them both the Book that made (things) clear. 117 And showed them the right path. 118 And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations: 119 'Peace be upon Moses and Aaron' 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 He asked his people: 'Do you not fear (Allah)? 124 Do you call upon Baal and forsake the Best of the Creators? 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they denied him, so they surely will be haled forth (to the doom) 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 'Peace be upon Elias!' 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 Lo! he is one of our believing slaves. 132 And Lut was most surely of the apostles. 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind; 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 and at night. Do you still not understand? 138
