We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 And guided them to the Right Path; 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 'Peace be upon Moses and, Aaron!' 120 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 121 Indeed, they were of Our believing servants. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 But they denied him [Iliyas (Elias)], so they will certainly be brought forth (to the punishment), 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 Peace be with the followers of Elias. 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 We rescued him and his whole family, 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 and We destroyed the rest. 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
