Forgiver (Ghaafer)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ HA MIM. 1 The sending down of the Book is from Allah, the Almighty, the Knower. 2 Forgiver of trespasses, acceptor of repentance, severe of retribution, lord of power. There is no god but He. Towards Him is your destination. 3 None except the disbelievers dispute the signs of Allah, therefore do not let their free movements in the land deceive you. 4 The people of Noah had denied before them, and many factions after them. Every nation has intrigued against its apostle and afflicted him, and argued with false arguments to condemn the truth. Then I seized them. How was then My retribution! 5 In this way the sentence of your Lord against the infidels that they would be the inmates of Hell, was justified. 6 Those who bear the power and those around Him celebrate the praise of their Lord and believe in Him and ask protection for those who believe: Our Lord! Thou embracest all things in mercy and knowledge, therefore grant protection to those who turn (to Thee) and follow Thy way, and save them from the punishment of the hell: 7 "And grant, our Lord! that they enter the Gardens of Eternity, which Thou hast promised to them, and to the righteous among their fathers, their wives, and their posterity! For Thou art (He), the Exalted in Might, Full of Wisdom. 8 and preserve them from [doing] evil deeds: for anyone whom on that Day [of Judgment] Thou wilt have preserved from [the taint of] evil deeds, him wilt Thou have graced with Thy mercy: and that, that will be the triumph supreme!" 9
