See you not those who dispute about the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of Allah? How are they turning away (from the truth, i.e. Islamic Monotheism to the falsehood of polytheism)? 69 Those who deny the Scripture and that wherewith We send Our messengers. But they will come to know, 70 When iron collars will be rounded over their necks, and the chains, they shall be dragged along. 71 and are dragged into burning despair, and in the end become fuel for the fire [of hell]. 72 It will then be asked of them: 'Where are those whom you associated, 73 other than Allah' They will reply: 'They have gone astray from us. Indeed what we used to call upon before is nothing' Accordingly, Allah leads the unbelievers astray. 74 (They will be told): “This is because while you were on earth you took delight in untruth and exulted in it. 75 Enter ye the gates of Hell as abiders therein. Hapless is the abode of the stiff-necked. 76 Therefore be patient (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), undoubtedly Allah’s promise is true; and whether We show some of what We promise them, or cause you to pass away before it – in any case they will return to Us. 77 Surely We have sent apostles before you, some of whose account We have related to you, and that of some We have not told you. But no apostle was given a miracle unless God dispensed. But when the decree of God comes the sentence is passed with justice; and the lovers of vice and vanity will then come to grief. 78
