Hast thou considered him who turns his back 33 And gave a little, then stopped (giving)? 34 Has he knowledge of the unseen, so that he sees? 35 Or has he not been informed of what was in the scriptures of Moses 36 and Abraham, he who paid his debt in full? 37 That no soul shall bear another's burden, 38 And that man can have nothing but what he does (good or bad). 39 And that his effort will be seen. 40 and will be fully recompensed for his deeds. 41 And that to your Lord is the finality 42 And that it is He (Allah) Who makes (whom He wills) laugh, and makes (whom He wills) weep; 43 And He who ordains death and life; 44 And that He creates the two mates - the male and female - 45 of a sperm-drop, when it was cast forth, 46 That the second creation is incumbent on Him; 47 And that it is He (Allah) Who gives much or a little (or gives wealth and contentment), 48 that He is the Lord of Sirius. 49 and that it is He who destroyed the ancient [tribes of] Ad 50 and Thamud tribes, 51 and the people of Noah before -- certainly they did exceeding evil, and were insolent 52 And He destroyed the overthrown cities [of Sodom to which Prophet Lout (Lot) was sent]. 53 and caused them to be covered with that which He covered them with. 54 Concerning which then, of the bounties of thy Lord, canst thou dispute? 55 This [Prophet] is a warner like the former warners. 56 The threatened Hour is nigh. 57 There shall be none besides Allah to remove it. 58 At this discourse then marvel ye? 59 And you laugh, and do not weep! 60 While ye amuse yourselves? 61 But fall ye down in prostration to Allah, and adore (Him)! ۩ 62
