Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Perish the hands of the Father of Flame! Perish he! 1 His wealth did not benefit him in the least, nor did whatever he earned. 2 [In the life to come] he shall have to endure a fire fiercely glowing; 3 His wife shall carry the (crackling) wood - As fuel!- 4 Around her neck will be a rope of palm fibre. 5

Almighty God's Truth.
