So did you observe him who turned away? 33 And gave a little, then was grudging? 34 What! Has he knowledge of the Unseen so that he can see? 35 Did not the news reach him, of that which is mentioned in the Books of Moosa? 36 And Abraham who paid his debt: 37 That no burdened soul bears another soul’s burden? 38 and that a man shall have to his account only as he has laboured, 39 And that his deeds will be seen, 40 Then he will be recompensed with a full and the best recompense. 41 And that thy Lord, He is the goal; 42 That it is He Who granteth Laughter and Tears; 43 That it is He Who granteth Death and Life; 44 And that it is He Who has created the two pairs, male and female? 45 of a sperm-drop, when it was cast forth, 46 And that upon Him (Allah) is another bringing forth (Resurrection); 47 That it is He Who giveth wealth and satisfaction; 48 And that He is the Lord of the Sirius; 49 And that it is He Who destroyed the (powerful) ancient 'Ad (people), 50 And Thamud - and He did not spare [them] - 51 And also the people of Nuh aforetime. Verily they were even greater wrong-doers and more contumacious. 52 And He overthrew the Cities of the Plain, 53 And covered them by that which He covered. 54 Which of your Lord's benefits will you then dispute about? 55 This is a Warner, of the (series of) Warners of old! 56 The Imminent is near at hand; 57 None beside Allah can disclose it. 58 Do you then find these tidings strange? 59 And will you laugh and not weep? 60 and divert yourselves all the while? 61 So prostrate to Allah and worship [Him]. ۩ 62
