When God said, 'Jesus, I will take thee to Me and will raise thee to Me and I will purify thee of those who believe not. I will set thy followers above the unbelievers till the Resurrection Day. Then unto Me shall you return, and I will decide between you, as to what you were at variance on. 55 "And as for those who are bent on denying the truth, I shall cause them to suffer a suffering severe in this world and in the life to come, and they shall have none to succour them; 56 As for those who have believed and do good works, they shall be given their reward in full. God does not love evil-doers. 57 "This is what we rehearse unto thee of the Signs and the Message of Wisdom." 58 To God the case of Jesus is as that of Adam whom He created from the earth and then said, "Exist," and Adam came into existence. 59 (This is) the truth from your Lord, so be not of those who doubt. 60 And whoso disputeth with thee concerning him, after the knowledge which hath come unto thee, say (unto him): Come! We will summon our sons and your sons, and our women and your women, and ourselves and yourselves, then we will pray humbly (to our Lord) and (solemnly) invoke the curse of Allah upon those who lie. 61 And this verily is the true account. There is no god but God, and God is all-mighty and all-wise. 62 But if they turn away, then Allah is Knower of the corrupters. 63
