Al-Rahman 3 of 3
But for him who lived in awe of the sublimity of his Lord, there will be two gardens -- 46 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 47 With spreading branches; 48 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 49 Therein are two running fountains. 50 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 51 In which will be of every fruit two kinds. 52 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 53 Reclining on carpets whereof the linings will be of brocade; and the fruit of the two Gardens shall be near at hand. 54 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 55 Therein shall be those of refraining looks whom before them hath deflowered neither man nor jinn. 56 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 57 As if they were rubies and coral. 58 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 59 Could the reward of good be aught but good? 60 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 61 And besides these shall be two gardens -- 62 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 63 Dark green (in colour). 64 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 65 Wherein are two abundant springs. 66 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 67 therein fruits, and palm-trees, and pomegranates -- 68 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 69 In them good and comely maidens -- 70 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 71 Companions restrained (as to their glances), in (goodly) pavilions;- 72 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 73 Whom no man or Jinn before them has touched;- 74 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 75 [In such a paradise will they dwell,] reclining upon meadows green and carpets rich in beauty. 76 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 77 Blessed be the name of your Lord, full of majesty and beneficience. 78
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
