▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ No! I swear by the positions of the stars – 75 And indeed, it is an oath - if you could know - [most] great. 76 This is indeed the noble Qur’an. 77 Kept in a secure Book. 78 which none shall touch except the purified; 79 It has been revealed by the Lord of all the worlds. 80 What, do you hold this discourse in disdain, 81 Do you make its denial your means of livelihood? 82 Why can you not help a soul dying 83 And you at that time look on-- 84 But We are nearer to him than ye, and yet see not,- 85 So why is it not, that if you are not to be repaid, – 86 Bring it back, if you should be truthful? 87 Then, if he is one of the honoured, 88 Then happiness and bounty and a garden of bliss. 89 And if he is one of those on the right hand, 90 Then peace to you from those on the right hand. 91 But, if he is of those who belied, and went astray, 92 its dwelling will be boiling water 93 And burning in Hell-Fire. 94 Most surely this is a certain truth. 95 Wherefore hallow thou the name of thy Lord, the Mighty! 96
