It is He who has made the earth submissive to you. Walk about in its land and eat of His provision. To Him is the Resurrection. 15 Have you become unafraid of the One Who controls the heavens, that He will not cause you to sink into the earth when it trembles? 16 Do you feel secure that the One in heaven will not send against you a whirlwind to pelt you with stones, so that you will know how [true] My warning was? 17 Those who went before them belied [the truth]: then how great was My rejection of them. 18 Do they not see the birds above them flying wings spread out or folded? Nothing holds them aloft but God. All things are within His purview. 19 Which is your army that will come to your aid against the Merciful Lord? But the unbelievers are in utter delusion. 20 Who is there to give you food in case He withholds His bounty? Yet they persist in rebellion and aversion. 21 Is then one who walks headlong, with his face grovelling, better guided,- or one who walks evenly on a Straight Way? 22 Say: "It is He who raised you and gave you ears and eyes and hearts. How little are the thanks you offer!" 23 Say, "It is He who has multiplied you throughout the earth, and to Him you will be gathered." 24 And they say: When (will) this promise (be fulfilled), if ye are truthful? 25 Say, "The knowledge is only with Allah, and I am only a clear warner." 26 But when they see it drawing near, the faces of those who deny the truth will turn gloomy and they will be told, "This is what you were calling for." 27 Say to them: “Did you ever consider: whether Allah destroys me and those that are with me, or shows mercy to us, who can protect the unbelievers from a grievous chastisement?” 28 Say thou: He is the Compassionate; in Him we have believed, and in Him we have put our trust. And anon ye will know who it is that is in error manifest. 29 Say: "Just think: If your water were to dry up in the morning who will bring you water from a fresh, flowing stream?" 30
