So I do call to witness what ye see, 38 and by what you do not see, 39 [That] indeed, the Qur'an is the word of a noble Messenger. 40 it is not the word of a poet -- how little you believe! -- 41 Nor is it the speech of a sooth-sayer. Little are ye admonished. 42 It is a revelation sent down by the Sustainer of the Universe: 43 if he had invented any lies about Us, 44 We surely had lain hold of him by the right hand. 45 and would indeed have cut his life-vein, 46 And not one of you could have held Us off from him. 47 And indeed, the Qur'an is a reminder for the righteous. 48 And indeed, We know that among you are deniers. 49 And verily it shall be an occasion of anguish unto the infidels. 50 for, verily, it is truth absolute! 51 So glorify your Lord, the most supreme. 52
