What! Are ye the more difficult to create or the heaven (above)? (Allah) hath constructed it: 27 He raised it high and leveled it, 28 And He made dark its night and brought out its light. 29 And afterwards spread out the earth. 30 And he brought forth therefrom its water, and its pasture. 31 And solidified the mountains. 32 As provision for you and your grazing livestock. 33 But when the Great Catastrophe comes, 34 The day when man will call to mind his (whole) endeavour, 35 and Hell is advanced for whoever sees, 36 then as for whosoever was insolent 37 And preferred the life of this world (by following his evil desires and lusts), 38 Verily the Scorch! that shall be his resort. 39 but one who fears to stand before his Lord and restrained himself from base desires, 40 Verily the Garden! that shall be his resort. 41 They question thee of the Hour: when will its arrival be? 42 What do you have to do with explaining it? 43 To your Lord belongs (the knowledge of) the term thereof? 44 Thou art only the warner of him who fears it. 45 On the Day they see it, they will feel as though they had stayed (in the grave) no more than one evening or one morning. 46
