He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ He frowned and turned away 1 Because there came unto him a blind man. 2 But what would make you perceive, [O Muhammad], that perhaps he might be purified 3 Or be admonished, so that the admonition might have profited him? 4 For him who does not care, 5 So you are after him! 6 though you will not be questioned even if he never purifies himself. 7 But as for him who cometh unto thee with earnest purpose 8 And whereas he fears, 9 From him you are distracted. 10 No indeed, this is a Reminder; 11 so let those who want to follow its guidance do so. 12 (This Quran) is also recorded in honorable books, 13 exalted, purified, 14 In the hands of scribes 15 noble, pious. 16 Cursed is man; how disbelieving is he. 17 From what substance did He create him? 18 Out of a drop of sperm! He creates and proportions him, 19 Then eased the way for him. 20 He will then send him to death and have him laid in the grave. 21 Then when He wills, He will resurrect him. 22 Nay, but man did not fulfil what Allah had enjoined upon him. 23 So man must look at his food. 24 That We pour forth water in abundance, 25 Then We split the earth properly. 26 Then We cause to grow therein the grain, 27 grapes, and fresh fodder, 28 and olives and palms, 29 And gardens of dense shrubbery 30 And fruits and Abba (herbage, etc.), 31 A provision for you and for your cattle. 32 Then, when there comes As-Sakhkhah (the Day of Resurrection's second blowing of Trumpet), 33 on that Day each person will flee from his brother, 34 And from his mother and father, 35 As well as his wife and children. 36 Every man that day will have concern enough to make him heedless (of others). 37 Some faces on that day will be radiant, 38 Laughing, rejoicing. 39 but some faces will be covered with dust 40 Dust shall cover them 41 These are they who are unbelievers, the wicked. 42
God the Almighty always says the truth.

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
