And He alone holds sway over His servants. And He sends forth heavenly forces to watch over you until, when death approaches any of you, Our messengers cause him to die: and they do not overlook [anyone]. 61 Then they all shall be taken back unto Allah, their true Master. Lo! His shall be the judgement. And He is the Most Swift of reckoners. 62 Say: 'Who saves you from the darkness of the land and sea, when you call out to Him humbly and in secret, (saying:) "If You save us from this, we will be among the thankful."?' 63 Say: 'God delivers you from them and from every distress; then you assign Him associates.' 64 Say: He has the power that He should send on you a chastisement from above you or from beneath your feet, or that He should throw you into confusion, (making you) of different parties; and make some of you taste the fighting of others. See how We repeat the communications that they may understand. 65 This (Book) has been called by your people a falsehood though it is the truth. Say: "I am not a warden over you." 66 All matters have a fixed time and soon you will come to know. 67 And O listener (followers of this Prophet) when you see those who argue in Our verses, turn away from them until they engage in another topic; and if the devil causes you to forget, then do not sit with the unjust after remembering. 68 And the pious are not accountable for them in the least, apart from the giving of advice so that they may avoid. 69 And let those alone who have taken their religion as a play and a sport and whom the life of the world hath beguiled. And admonish thou them therewith lest a soul be given up to perdition for that which it hath earned, when for him there shall be no friend or intercessor beside Allah, and when if he offer every equivalent it shall not be accepted of him. Those are they who are given up to perdition for that which they have earned. For them shall be drink of boiling water and a torment afflictive, for they were wont to disbelieve. 70
