O you who have believed, fear Allah as He should be feared and do not die except as Muslims [in submission to Him]. 102 And hold fast, all together, unto the bond with God, and do not draw apart from one another. And remember the blessings which God has bestowed upon you: how, when you were enemies, He brought your hearts together, so that through His blessing you became brethren; and [how, when] you were on the brink of a fiery abyss, He saved you from it. In this way God makes clear His messages unto you, so that you might find guidance, 103 Let there arise out of you a band of people inviting to all that is good, enjoining what is right, and forbidding what is wrong: They are the ones to attain felicity. 104 Do not be like those who, after they had been given clear evidence, split into factions and differed among themselves: a terrible punishment awaits such people. 105 On the Day when some faces would be bright, and some others will be black (with despair), those with black faces (will be told): "Having come to the faith you denied it; now taste therefore the penalty for you disbelieved." 106 And those whose faces will be shining, are in the mercy of Allah; they will abide in it forever. 107 These are God's revelations; We recite them to you in all truth. God desires no injustice to mankind. 108 For to God belongs all that is in the heavens and the earth, and to God do all things return. 109
