The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
25 verses, revealed in Mecca after Shattering (Al-Infitaar) before The Romans (Al-Room)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the heaven is split asunder, 1 And attentive to her Lord in fear, 2 and when the earth is leveled, 3 and throws out of itself all that it contains 4 And obeys its Lord and it must. 5 O man! surely you must strive (to attain) to your Lord, a hard striving until you meet Him. 6 Then, he who is given his Book in his right hand 7 shall have an easy reckoning 8 and he will return to his family joyfully. 9 But as for him whose record shall be given to him behind his back; 10 He will cry out for destruction 11 and will enter the Blazing Fire. 12 Verily, he was among his people in joy! 13 he surely thought he would never revert. 14 Yea indeed! His Sustainer did see all that was in him! 15 Nay; I swear by the twilight; 16 And by the night and whatever it gathers in its darkness; 17 by the moon, in its fullness 18 That you shall most certainly enter one state after another. 19 What is the matter with them? Why do they not believe? 20 And when the Qur’an is recited to them, they do not fall prostrate? (Command of Prostration # 13) ۩ 21 In fact the unbelievers disavow. 22 Allah knows best what they are accumulating (in their Record). 23 Therefore, give them the news of a painful punishment. 24 except the righteously striving believers, who will receive a never-ending reward. 25
Almighty Allah's Truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
