The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who created and shaped, 2 who has ordained and guided, 3 who brings forth green pasture, 4 Then reduces them to rusty rubbish. 5 By degrees shall We teach thee to declare (the Message), so thou shalt not forget, 6 Save that which Allah willeth. Lo! He knoweth the disclosed and that which still is hidden; 7 We shall take you slowly towards ease. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder benefits, 9 Those who have fear of God will benefit 10 And the wretched shunneth it. 11 even he who shall roast in the Great Fire, 12 Wherein he will neither die (to be in rest) nor live (a good living). 13 But those will prosper who purify themselves, 14 And who mentioned the name of his Lord, then offered prayer. 15 Nay (behold), ye prefer the life of this world; 16 although the life to come is better and more enduring. 17 And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelation),- 18 Writs of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
