The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Woe to every slanderer, defamer, 1 Who pileth up wealth and layeth it by, 2 Does he think his wealth will abide for ever with him? 3 Nay, but verily he will be flung to the Consuming One. 4 and what shall teach thee what is the Crusher; 5 It is the fire kindled by God 6 Which leaps up over the hearts, 7 Verily it shall close upon them, 8 In columns outstretched. 9
